Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Day

In recognition of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Day, observed annually on 12th February, FEHD Foundation will host an awareness and engagement event focused on promoting informed decision-making, bodily autonomy, and the protection of the rights of women and girls.

The event will provide a safe and inclusive platform for learning and dialogue on key SRHR issues, including access to accurate health information, personal safety, and the elimination of harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and child marriage. Through interactive discussions, age-appropriate education, and edutainment-based activities, participants will be equipped with knowledge to better understand their rights and responsibilities within their communities and educational environments.

The program will engage community members, educators, and young people, emphasizing the critical role of community and educational systems in advancing SRHR awareness and driving sustainable social and behavioral change. By fostering collaboration and open conversation, the event aims to strengthen collective commitment to safeguarding the health, dignity, and wellbeing of women and girls.
